High Desert Drifter
“High Desert Drifter” is written to musically depict the following scene by Todd Sheidenberger

We pan out across the high desert plains as the Main Titles begin to appear. From a distance, our rogue hero approaches on horseback, as the titles continue to roll.

All of a sudden, we spot bandits on each opposing ridge. A stand-off ensues.

Without warning, our hero draws his weapons and makes quick work of the bandits.

As abruptly as it began, it is now over, with the bandits lying dead in the field and our hero’s guns smoking.

Our hero then rides off, and the titles resume over scenes of him riding through the high desert.

there’s something in the woods
“There’s Something in the Woods” is written to musically depict the following micro-story by Holly Sheidenberger
THE CRAZY OLD FARMER

All the kids said there was a crazy old farmer who lived in the woods. They said he’d shoot kids with salt pellets if they trespassed, but Sam didn’t believe them. So he started walking through the woods every day after school just to prove he was right.

Until last Tuesday.

Halfway through the wood, somebody violently pummeled him with salt pellets, bruising every part of his body. He ducked and ran, covering his head with his jacket.

Sam looked back, and there he saw it. A Sasquatch, hurling pebbles at him to get him to leave. He scrambled out of those woods as fast as he could.

Now he tells all the kids not to go into the woods because there is a crazy old farmer who shoots kids with salt pellets if they trespass.
